As Crysencio Summerville wheeled off to celebrate putting us two goals up at Scum, I was convinced we’d never need a ‘real’ manager again. Managers are (almost always) pointless, I think. We have had eighteen permanent managers since the turn of the millennium and you’d struggle to say nice things about more than three of them. Why do we bother?
Fast forward to Seamus Coleman’s imitation of Marco Van Basten and I was quite happy for Sam Allardyce to come in and let the darkness swallow us whole. So with that, I’d like to say welcome to Leeds United, Javi Gracia. It’s very normal here.
