I love Wilfried Gnonto! I hate Wilfried Gnonto! I’m willing to give Wilfried Gnonto a chance if he’s a bit good at football for Leeds maybe! Adams was actually okay for some of last season! Adams can fuck off! Sinisterra is too good for the Championship! Sinisterra is a shit bastard who was always injured!

I’ve been all over the place with Leeds United (and subsequently non-Leeds United) all summer, and have struggled even to find human solidarity with the immediate villains of this preposterous transfer window. As a trade unionist, I’m always in favour of a worker’s right to withdraw their labour. However, if I’m going to continue to be held to the deliberately prohibitive thresholds for industrial action that years of anti-union legislation have brought about, I expect millionaire bastard footballers to have to do the same. Should they organise around genuine workplace injustice, I’ll back anyone in dispute with management. When some footballers are moaning about not wanting to play for a team made shit by their lacklustre performances, I find it much harder to care. Because it’s Leeds United that they have ruined and slimed away from, through a pathetic loophole to a pathetic fourth division outfit, I’ve had to exist in a low-key state of irritated outrage for an entire summer already made shit by us getting relegated.
