Someone else’s problem

I still pick this as one of the lowest moments of the 2010s, even though it came early in that decade of woe. At the end of April 2012 Neil Warnock was just seventy days into employment at Leeds United, and the only damage he’d been able to inflict through the transfer market was Danny Webber on a free. But the pernicious way he was twisting what few joys remained from Simon Grayson’s team into a Warnockian hate-machine could already be seen on the final day of the season.
