In the days of Bates and Cellino a gutless 1-0 defeat at Blackburn would barely have registered. Everyone knew we were going nowhere, so what did it really matter? Just add it to the pile. This season it feels like every stumble initiates an existential meltdown. Is Daniel Farke a fraud? Are all of our players absolutely terrible? Maybe both, but probably neither. The Championship often feels like this. So what better way to overcome this latest mini-crisis than a game against Derby?
