I’ll admit that I was really looking forward to seeing Luis Sinisterra destroying Championship defences this season. But the farce surrounding deadline day felt like a suitable book-end to twelve months when Leeds managed to get almost everything wrong. Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that the mercenaries recruited to turn over the Leicester/Brentford/Brighton model were a bit miffed to discover they were getting trips to Millwall and Hull instead of transfers to Barcelona and Manchester City. Bournemouth though? Enjoy, Luis. You truly deserve it.
