Two black and white photos of Gaetano Berardi side by side: applauding the Leeds fans, and having a little cuddle with Stuart Dallas

Meet TSB’s new columnist, Gaetano Berardi himself. This season Bera is taking time out from studying for his coaching qualifications to talk us through his memories of playing for Leeds, and in this issue, about Stuart Dallas, the Grays, and how the season might end.

Despite some disappointing results recently, I think overall this season has been really good. You cannot get ninety or more points in a season if you are not a good team. That is thanks to the players and thanks to the coach, and obviously thanks to all the people supporting the team.

As a coach you have to be a little stubborn and believe in your ideas. Any criticisms of Daniel Farke should come when everything is over, in my opinion. The board did right, keeping the right players and getting some good additions to the squad. They could have spent much more, but with a big risk for next season and the possibility of a points deduction. That was not necessary.
