Kemar Roofe pictured with his head in his hands, clearly troubled by something. Rangers finances, perhaps? Not that I'm - hello, it's Chris here - biased.

Depending on your point of view, Glasgow Rangers are either a source of continuous amusement or face-punching frustration. Yes, this is a Leeds United fanzine, and yes this is a piece concerning Rangers, but before you email in, there is some context to be applied.

That came in the shape of a recent announcement that 49ers Enterprises have agreed โ€˜in principleโ€™ to acquire the Scottish club by the end of the current season, although specifics beyond that are still scarce. Speculation has it that Paraag Marathe was directly engaged in the discussions, but any personal stake would have by regulation to be limited to a maximum of 30% (although Marathe approaching the transaction in that way seems unlikely). Given the opaque nature of our own investment profile, more transparency than this is unlikely to come any time soon.
