From South Korea to ER

How far would you be willing to travel for a Leeds United game on a Friday night?

South Korea has built a small following of die hard Leeds supporters, dating back to our run to the Champions League semi-finals in 2000/01, when we were the most successful English side in the competition that season. Sure, things have gone downhill a bit since, but something struck a chord with those fans. They’ve stuck with Leeds ever since, religiously getting up early to watch games that kick-off at 2am or 3am. Winning at Old Trafford on January 3rd provided one of the best mornings of their lives.

Fast forward a few years and Han Seunjong arranged for his closest friends to attend his wedding shortly after our Premier League return in 2020 and brought Leeds shirts for them to wear at the reception. He’s even had a friend from the UK send him a special parcel — a Bielsa bucket.
