Quite right too, Mum. Does any football fan give a shit about the Olympics, really? To most people, the games are a showcase of all the sports they don’t usually give a toss about, or perhaps haven’t even heard of. The Women’s Super League runs October through May, every year of life. Why would I waste this quadrennial event watching Beth Mead score yet another banger when there’s horses out here doing literal pirouettes?
