Archie Gray and Bill Ayling vs Jayden Bogle

It’s very hard for anyone to replace Luke Ayling and, given his performances for Middlesborough since moving up there, it’s even harder to imagine that he didn’t have more to offer at Leeds. That said, Archie made the position his own last season, only really struggling a couple of times with the level of wingers in the Champo and leaving us all wondering how good he was going to be in central midfield in 24/25.

That wasn’t to be either, and Bogle was bought as a specialist to fill the right-back slot. Given Bogle is only 24 and with Archie’s nemesis Liam Miller already dealt with once this season, I’m calling this one as a draw. One point each.
