We’ve had some curious sponsors down the years. From non-existent Indonesian betting companies, through cheap whisky and flight booking sites, each has punctuated its own time in Leeds United’s history.

2007/08 was a time when Leeds United could stick a red logo across the shirt, with the word red in it, and few batted an eyelid. Did that represent general apathy caused by a rot that had long since set in thanks to Peter Ridsdale’s dream? Or did we simply have bigger fish to fry? Perhaps only having a splash of red on the shirt as our main concern would have been a nice position to be in.
