The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

A collection of good, bad, and ugly Spurs loanees playing for Leeds: Chris Fairclough, Andros Townsend, and Joe Rodon (sorry Joe, just keep your tongue in your mouth for once)

My overwhelming feeling is we never really got to know Diop Tehuti Djed-Hotep Spence. Very excited Tottenham fans were assuring me of his quality in the days and weeks after his arrival. โ€œHeโ€™s a good player. Very quick and confident on the ballโ€. After four months of waiting, to be honest I donโ€™t disagree with any of that.

After his nine minute cameo in September I thought, “heโ€™s fast”, after he lost the ball, ran and regained the ball and (as we later found out) injured himself for most of the rest of his stay in Leeds.

Rumours that heโ€™d returned to London and wasnโ€™t coming back started to circulate but in the end, after a third international break without seeing our shiny new right back, we eventually got a bit of Djed. At left-back, obviously.
