Top five winter warmers

It’s nearly Christmas, so we thought about doing a feature about our favourite festive moments over the years. But actually coming up with some suitably snowy subjects was harder than we thought. First of all, if there was snow, there was generally no football. And if there wasn’t snow, we were generally losing by some dreary margin to Nottingham Forest. Not fun. You know what is fun, though? David Batty in a funny hat. And when we realised we could print a photo of that, we decided the following pages should be filed in the spirit of, ‘Stuff that happened in or around December that we found some photos of’.
